The central component is the threaded body - one right-hand thread end and one left-hand thread end. Eye End: The closed-eye end is designed to connect to shackles, thimbles, or fixed pins. Assemblies where one attachment point uses a shackle or pin-through-eye connection typically use the eye end at that side.
