Anchor / Bow Shackles

The widened bow shape allows for side-loading and multi-leg sling articulation.

  • Screw Pin Anchor Shackles : The industry standard for pick-and-place applications. We stock the Crosby G-209 and Green Pin G-4161 for quick, non-permanent connections.
  • Bolt-Type Anchor Shackles : Required for long-term installations or where load rotation might back out a pin. Our inventory features the Crosby G-2130 and Green Pin G-4163 Safety Bow Shackle, both secured with a nut and cotter pin.

Dee / D-Shackles (Chain Shackles)

Designed for inline tension and single-leg connections. The narrow throat is ideal for connecting to chain or fitting into confined spaces.

Wide Body Shackles

Engineered specifically to improve the D/d ratio (diameter to diameter) when using high-capacity synthetic slings. The Crosby G-2160 Wide Body Shackle increases the bearing surface area, preventing sling bunching and reducing stress on the fibers during heavy lifts.

Sling Saver & Web Sling Shackles

These shackles eliminate the need for a thimble. Products like the Crosby S-281 Web Sling Shackle feature a flat, wide bearing surface that connects directly to the synthetic sling eye, maximizing sling efficiency and service life.

  • Crosby shackles are manufactured from quenched and tempered alloy steel for superior ductility and fatigue resistance. The range includes G-209, G-2130, G-2140, wide-body, and sling-saver series, all permanently marked with size, WLL, and PIC codes for full traceability. Suitable for critical lifts, multi-leg sling assemblies, offshore work, and engineered rigging plans.
  • Green Pin shackles are produced to European standards (EN 13889 and EN 1677), offering high-performance bow, dee, and sling-saver designs. Known for precision machining, consistent WLL markings, and corrosion-resistant coatings, Green Pin hardware is widely used in marine, offshore, construction, and transport lifting systems.
  • Yoke shackles provide robust carbon and alloy steel options for everyday rigging and material handling operations. Available in anchor, dee, and sling-saver configurations, each unit is marked with WLL and size identification for compliance and traceability in field operations.
  • Cromox shackles are designed from high-grade stainless steel for environments with extreme moisture, salt exposure, or chemical contact. They provide long-term corrosion resistance for offshore platforms, marine operations, bulk handling, and processing facilities where steel longevity is critical.

Complete Your Lifting Assembly

A shackle is only the connection point. To build a fully compliant rigging system, pair your hardware with Wire Rope Slings for rugged durability or Polyester Round Slings for lifting delicate loads without surface damage.
