The Master Link is the primary connection point where your rigging meets the crane hook. Holloway Houston stocks a massive inventory of certified Master Links and Master Link Assemblies from the world's most trusted brands, including Crosby, Gunnebo, and William Hackett. From Grade 100 alloy rings to DNV-certified offshore assemblies, we have the hardware to connect your 1-leg, 2-leg, 3-leg, and 4-leg slings safely.
Every wire rope, chain, or synthetic bridle sling starts with a Master Link. As the upper terminal fitting, the master link must be large enough to fit over the crane hook's saddle and strong enough to support the aggregate weight of the entire load.
Holloway Houston Inc. (HHI) offers an unparalleled selection of forged rings. Whether you need a compact 1/2" link for a tool box sling or a massive 4-1/2" offshore ring with a 300-ton capacity, we supply the certified hardware required for construction, oil & gas, and heavy manufacturing.
Designed for general overhead lifting, these single rings are used for single-leg slings or 2-leg bridles.
Also known as "Quad Assemblies" or "Sub-Assemblies."
Built for the extreme conditions of the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
The Master Link must have a Working Load Limit (WLL) equal to or greater than the total load being lifted. Note: When building a multi-leg sling, the master link must account for the angular loading of the legs.
A common mistake is buying a link that is strong enough but physically too small to fit over the crane hook.
